The experimental determination of the air change efficiency in a large enclosure with relevant inside volume has been investigated by means of the impulse tracer gas technique in the inlet channel.
The values of tracer concentration mapped in the exhaust duct and those measured in five different points inside the concert hall “Gesualdo da Venosa”, located in potenza, are given.
The performed measurements have been used to determinate the mean age of the air in the points of measure, and the air change efficiency index, in the case of ventilation plant running in conditions of “all external air”.
