TurboSonic - MULTI-POLLUTANT EMISSIONS CONTROL FOR INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES

Pubblicazione

Data: 04-2009

Collana: BT - 44 - Apr 09 - Processi di combustione: Tecnologie innovative per la compatibilità ambientale

Note:
Increasingly stringent air pollution control regulations require technologies capable of reducing atmospheric emissions of contaminant gases, particulates The variations in combinations and concentrations of pollutants contained in industrial process gases require that multiple proven technologies are available to reduce emissions of these contaminants. A selection of case studies is presented. Wet- and dry-based systems have been used to control multiple pollutant types from industrial processes. Semi-dry absorption (SDA) systems are used to reduce emissions of acid gases and dust. Wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) technology was originally developed for fine particulate and sulfuric acid mist capture. Wet scrubbers are used to control combinations of dusts and acid gases.
