Note:
Actual gaseous emissions from gas turbine power plants depend on several operating parameters. Among these, with special reference to plants operating at steady load, is the natural gas composition. This last can be relatively variable during the year, and
there is some evidence that this can affect the emission level of modern gas turbines, equipped with last-generation low-emission combustion chambers. The experience at the MEGS Porcari Combined-Cycle Power Plant, equipped with two GE LM6000 gas
turbine units, is described; a statistical analysis of the data is presented and a model currently used to predict in advance the expected emissions performance is developed and demonstrated.
