NOx emissions from stationary sources represent a serious environmental problem. Primary control technologies significantly reduce Nox formation. Catalytic processes can provide lower Nox emissions, but their economics must be carefully addressed. The fundamental aspects of SCR and SCONOxtm technologies are presented and discussed.
