Note:
A numerical analysis for the thermal control of the base unit of a concentration photovoltaic module is presented in this paper. The effects of the inclination of the module, the heat rate to be removed and the ambient temperature are analyzed for three configurations of the cooling system. Results in terms of the average cell temperature rise above the ambient temperature are presented. Correlations among the main dimensionless parameters are also given.
