Note:
Model of the reaction of methane oxidation regarding heterogeneous radical stages in flow conditions has been considered. Feedback is caused by reaction of peroxy radicals with formaldehyde on a surface. The study of the model was carried out for two types of surfaces of the reaction vessel: inert and active to destruction of radicals and peroxy compounds, respectively. The mathematical analysis of special points of system has shown, that the system allows existence of either of stable and unstable focuses, dependant on values of rate constants of heterogeneous stages. In the case of the inert surface unstable focus takes place, resulting in a limiting cycle and concentration self-oscillations are observed. At the other parameters auto-swinging or damping of vibrations in the system have been realized.
