Pubblicazione

Autore: A.G. Semenov

Collana: CA - 49 - Perugia 1994

Note:
Scientific foundation for air acoustic vibrations excitation based heat exchange stimulating method and devices construction used in mighty electronic, say semi conducting, equipment is reviewed. Several different principles of heat exchange acoustic stimulation by acoustic Helmholtz resonators situated in specially designed heat sinks (both active and passive) are discussed together with corresponding physical principles of method proposed. Practical results of their experimental efficiency estimates are shown on the basis of initial laboratory experience received in Russia on semiconductor electronic equipment, giving up to several grades of device inner construction mean temperature decrease. Technical solutions and inventions used for construction of the first simplest samples of original electronic device heat sinks units coincided with various acoustic resonators and transducers are discussed. Graduation curves for corresponding Helmholtz resonator frequency change with ambient temperature are presented showing that resonance frequency is substantially (by square root law) dependent on ambient temperature change. Initial experimental results conducted with model heat sinks in air are presented giving possibility to estimate effect of heat exchanging method proposed.
