Preface: the establishment of an LC to take care of the interaction between CEN and the MS is highly experimental. Adjusting the interaction approach by taking into account lessons learned during phase 1 and changing circumstances is essential for the development of effective EPB standards. Also the future development of standards that serve as policy means for the EU and MS and thus require tuning between the MS and CEN can benefit from the LC’s experience and insights.
