Note:
The integration of renewable energy into buildings reflects on both Core Theme 4 Procedures” and Core Theme 5 “Nearly zero‐energy buildings”. Based on earlier sessions in CT5 it became clear that countries have different perspectives about what is considered renewable energy (e.g. biomass?), how these energy sources are accounted, which primary energy factors are applied and last but not least how they are integrated in praxis in high performance buildings or NZEBs. This session develops an overview on the national approaches. Based on a short questionnaire posters will be developed, revisited and discussed during the session.
