Note:
This joint session focuses on training of experts regarding the recommendations for energy saving measures for existing buildings, in particular to obtain a detailed insight into national provisions ensuring the fulfilment of Art. 11, paragraphs 2, 3 and 4. The EPBD requires the inclusion of recommendations for improvement of the energy performance of a building (or building unit). These recommendations should be based on the energy savings that can be really achieved by the implementation of the recommendation. Energy cost reduction should be in line with the cost of implementing the energy efficiency measures.
