Under the Mandate M/480 from the European Commission CEN is revising the set of EPBD related standards to comply with the recast EPBD (Directive 2010/31/EU). In order to tune the needs of the European Member States and CEN regarding these Standards the CAP-EDMC-Liaison Committee has been established. The role of the CAP-EDMC-Liaison Committee is to make the needs of the Member States regarding usability of the EPB-standards explicit towards CEN and to contribute to the effectiveness of the standards from the perspective of the Member States. The Liaison Committees focus is on the usability from a policy making perspective. The Member States are represented in the Energy Demand Management Committee (EDMC). Some Member States have chosen to appoint National Contact Persons to interact with the Liaison Committee on behalf of the Member State’s representation.
