REQUEST Work Package 2 (WP2) carried out a review of tools and schemes that enhance quality in the supply chain for low carbon renovation and that promote the uptake of Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) recommendations in residential buildings across Europe. In order to contextualise the tools that the REQUEST partners described in the WP2 questionnaire, an investigation about EPCs in the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) within the 11 partner countries was performed, also focusing on: - Factors that promote EPCs - Communication - Education and the role of energy agencies.
