This standard identifies survey (audit) and audit (assessment) levels which specify actions that contribute to the energy savings for the end user by increasing the efficiency of the compressed air system, which include: - Initial system survey (audit) (walk thro) - System assessment - Category a - Category b - Category c This standard identifies the roles and responsibilities of the auditor, assessor and the compressed air user. It also identifies recommendations and actions to be taken resulting from the audit or assessment. This standard specifies a format for the reporting on energy related compressed air system audit or assessment. It describes minimum requirements for information to be given in three broad areas, which include: - supply analysis. (generation and distribution) - demand analysis. (e.g. point of use, may include pressure profile, flow) - supply system analysis on component level. It will provide a statement of energy efficiency. This standard identifies energy related aspects associated with air purity requirements.
