Based upon the above I kindly ask you to approve the establishment of the ad hoc group "SM-CG and Mandate M/441" under CEN/TC 294 and confirm the nomination of Mr Ortwin Pfaff by replying to the draft resolutions as presented documents N 245 and N 246 before 2010-06-27. In the event that members wish to nominate alternative candidates to the "Convenorship" of this new ad hoc group, they are requested to send their nomination to me before 2010-06-20. If such nominations are received, another committee internal ballot will be initiated. CEN members deciding to participate in the ad hoc group should appoint each one technical expert which is also a member of CEN/TC 294, before 2010-06-27. Please note that only the member bodies are requested to respond to this ballot.
