Please find enclosed a document as presented by WG 1 on 1 April 2010 on the issues around defining the element of "residue" in our work. They have some specific questions to the CEN/TC 383 Membership as presented on page 3 of the Annex A. In order to give them guidance in a timely manner, the Secretariat, after consultation of the WG 1 and WG 2 convenor, proposes initiating an 8 weeks enquiry on the essential derived from these questions. CEN/TC 383 Members and Liaisons are requested to indicate their positions and preferences via the reply form in Annex B. Please return the reply form before 8 June 2010 to energy@nen.nl. If questions arise, please consult your national experts in WG 1 for clarification or contact the WG 1 convenor himself (Dr. A. Heitzer, heitzer@erdoel.ch).
