Please find enclosed a press release from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) regarding the development of a future international standard in order to harmonize energy efficiency and renewable sources terminology. This standard will be developed by ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). We would like to encourage European experts who either did not attend the first JPC 2 meeting or are not yet registered through their National Standardization Bodies in JPC 2, to join the new committee in order to participate to the elaboration of this very important standard in the sector of energy efficiency and renewable energies sources.
