Note:
The ISO/TC 205 working group 9 is currently preparing new ISO standards on combustion systems (boilers) and heat pump systems. Part of the tasks of the current European CENSE project is to give recommendations to improve the CEN standards on energy performance of buildings (www.iee-cense.eu). Because of the strong link between the new ISO standards and the existing CEN 15316- 4-x series of standards the recommendations applying to this series of standards might be useful for the ISO working group. Because of overlapping time schedules of CENSE and the writing of the (EN-)ISO standards the suggestions are presented here in a memo, parallel to the preparation of the official CENSE recommendations document.
