As reported at the last plenary meeting in Philadelphia, all the main comments on the committee draft were resolved at the meeting in Nov 08. There was consensus in submitting the document as DIS after the revisions are completed. In spite of optimistic commitments from WG experts at the last meeting, inputs for completing the revisions were delayed into the summer. The document was completed and submitted to ISO in August. ISO rejected the submitted standard due to editorial deficiencies. These have been addressed and the revised document has been sent to the TC secretariat in late September for re submission to the ISO. We expect the DIS ballot process to begin shortly.
