Note:
In May this year BT adopted a resolution C031/2009. An extract from the resolution follows: · requests CEN/TC 89 to limit the scope of its Working Group 12 to laboratory tests ; · further requests CEN/TC 89 to create a new Working Group with the objective to prepare an in situ test; · decides that the document resulting from the work of CEN/WS 36 will not be finalized as a CEN Workshop Agreement, but requests CEN/TC 89 and its above-mentioned new working group to use this document as an input to their work on an in situ test; · reminds the CEN national members of their obligation to balance national committee participation, in particular when appointing experts to this new Working Group and their national delegates in the Technical Committee ; · requests CEN/TC 89 to review in due time the composition of its above-mentioned new Working Group (and other working groups, as necessary) seeking the right balance between the different interests, taking into account that, in addition to the appointment of experts by the CEN Members, the CEN/TC itself is allowed to appoint experts to participate in its working groups
