Note:
This European standard specifies the requirements and test methods for silencers that
are used as components, carrying flue gases, in order to reduce the noise which comes
from combustion appliances (e. g. heating appliances, generators, CHP-units).
Components tested together with the liner or system chimney are not covered by this
standard.
