Background:
Reference is made to document SMCG_Sec0003_INF which reports on the informal coordination
meeting that was held on 2009-01-21 in Brussels and to which major stakeholders
in the smart meters field had participated. During this meeting the ESO proposed the creation of a co-ordination group to deal on the one hand with the Commission’s mandate M/441 and the response to be given and on the other hand to ensure proper collaboration and demarcation of effort in the Smart Metering field.
