Note:
The thermo hygrometric comfort in the environments is strongly connected to the thermo fluid dynamic parameters inside themselves. The air inlets position, the speed of the air from these and window size can give origin to air distributions that determines situations of not thermal comfort. In order to avoid this, it is necessary a preliminary study of velocity and temperature fields to appraise the presence of excessive gradients and the most advantageous position of the air inlets and outlets. In this study the thermo fluid dynamic fields are analyzed in transitory regime inside an executive aircraft cabin. The
purpose of such analysis is the numerical visualization of the thermo fluid dynamic field in the cabin with the objective to study the effect of window size on the thermal comfort of the occupants. It is paid a particular attention to the fields of motion and temperature, skipping the field of pressure because atmospheric pressure is imposed, guaranteed by the cabin pressurization system. The analysis is conducted on a three-dimensional model of a portion of the cabin in the seats zone.
Results are presented as velocity and temperature fields, temperature profiles as a function of time are also given.
